Stuff White People Like
A hilarious site discussing the silly things that are popular with upper-middle-class/urban white people. Things like frisby sports, pea coats, expensive sandwiches, and "the idea of soccer". Most of the newer entries are about their books, but they still post some good ones, and the archived list is excellent reading.

I Read This (Fan Forum)
The official fan forum for I Drew This. No longer active, but the site remains for archive purposes.
Green Valley Book Fair
A spectacular local venue selling used/overstock books for great prices. They're only open about one week a month, but it's highly worth visiting, even if you're a long way away. Huge selection, great prices, and lots of obscure/out of print titles. And, it's a beautiful drive, great to make into a day trip.
Refresh Pittsburgh
A web design resource in Pittsburgh, PA, offering conferences, meetups, discussions, and job postings for web designers in that area.
SharpReader RSS Aggregator
This is an application I use pretty regularly, it's an RSS/Atom reader that runs on your local desktop, instead of requiring regular visits to a website. Highly configurable, and very low-impact on system resources. If you want an easy way to keep up with RSS feeds, Lupinia recommends SharpReader 100%.
TwPHPer
A very well-written, easy to use, and stable Twitter widget for websites. Uses PHP to retrieve tweets, and while Javascript makes it look and behave nicely, it's not required, making it very low-resource. And, it's painfully easy to re-skin, and therefore very easy to seamlessly integrate with any website. Highly recommended!
Where's George?
A fun site dedicated to tracking the movement of certain marked bills through the US currency system. Users mark their bills (usually $1, hence the name) with a stamp, and other users enter the serial number of the bill when they find it.
Zero Punctuation
An Australian guy named Yahtzee reviews video games for The Escapist magazine, in animated video form. Quite fun to watch, he has a very entertaining style. And he loves Portal.
