1971 Lamborghini Urraco

The Lamborghini Urraco was a fairly rare sports car made in the early 1970s. All Lamborghinis are hand-built, and only 791 of these cars were ever built. Of those, 21 were designed for the American market, and this is one of them.

This one came up for sale on a local dealer's lot, and after researching it, I couldn't believe how such a rare and exotic car could show up on a used car lot in a place like Harrisonburg. Thankfully, the dealer at least knew what he had, because he was asking $28,500 for it, and it still sold within a week.

While I was unable to buy this car, I did get some pictures of it, and I really wonder what happened to it. Hopefully it went to a good home, where it will be well cared-for, but still driven occasionally. It'd be a shame for a car like that to sit in some garage forever.
